Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American producer and actress. Her first
feature film appearance was in the 1995 independent drama Kids. Her roles in
subsequent films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002).
Dawson is also a voiceover for Warner Bros./DC Comics and ViacomCBS
Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. For her performance in Rent, Dawson was awarded
the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top
Five, Dawson was nominated to the Critics Choice Movie Award in the category of
Best Actress in Comedy. Dawson was born on May 9, 1979 in New York City. Isabel
Celeste is her mother and has Afro-Cuban heritage. Isabel was just 16 when
Rosario was born. She didn't marry Rosario's biological father, Patrick C.
Harris. When Rosario was one year old, her mom got married Greg Dawson, a
construction worker. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's
half-brother. Dawson is also well-known for playing a variety of characters in
comic book adaptations.These include Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A
Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the Marvel/Netflix series
(2015-2018) and acting as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman on the DC Animated Movie
Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on The Lego
Batman Movie. She was the voice of Ahsoka Tano on the show's second season in
2020 and will appear in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She is also a
regular part in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in
2021.
