Tracy Spiridakos
Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actor from Canada. She was a part of Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy series Majority Rules! From 2009 to 2010, she starred as Becky Richards in the Teletoon children's comedy series Majority Rules! She was then on the show as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson in the NBC post-apocalyptic science fiction series Revolution between 2012 and 2014, for which she was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson was the character Annika on the A&E television series Bates Motel. Since 2017 Spiridakos has appeared on the NBC police drama Chicago P.D. Spiridakos has portrayed the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, and restaurant proprietors George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. Her family relocated to Skala in Greece, south-of Sparta, shortly after her birth. In 1992 they returned to Canada. Spiridakos is deeply connected to her Greek heritage and can speak fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. Then she attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she was a graduate of Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting and within a few weeks, she was offered her first television role that was a tiny part on Supernatural. She continued to appear on television, playing walk-on characters in Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos was in the TV movie Goblin, and the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Also, she was a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean who played the werewolf. In 2009, the actress won her first starring part in Majority Rules! Canada, in which she played 15-year-old Becky Richards. In 2011, she made her debut in feature films in the film Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She was also the director of Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller by Michael Greenspan. It starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy, and directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos was seen as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original film, Rags. Spiridakos was later offered the leading role in Revolution in the role of Charlotte Matheson (survivor in a dystopian society), on NBC television. The audition took place while she was at her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos filming the pilot was in Atlanta and the first season in Wilmington. Her performance on the initial season of the series was nominated for a Saturn Award as Best Actress on television. She was, however, a loser to the actress from Fringe, Anna Torv. The second season was shot in Austin, Texas.
