Anne W. Burrell was known as a TV host, former chef in the Institute of Culinary Education and in the past, she taught cooking. She's the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. With her signature spiky blond hair and bubbly persona Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of dining out, and provides concise easy-to-master techniques to the home cook in her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell has worked in several of the most prestigious restaurants in New York, studied the cuisine and culture of Italy, and battled on the Food Network's Iron Chef America. When she was growing up in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell developed a passion for cooking and food at an early age.
